Gulf Sunsets

Any and every water activity you can imagine is available within minutes of the cottages. Get a bird’s eye view parasailing where from high above the Gulf of Mexico you will see stunning views of Anna Maria, Bradenton, and Longboat or just enjoy a quiet sunset.

Sugar Sand Beaches

Get really close to nature ocean kayaking. Tour mangrove tunnels, view wildlife as you traverse our tropical barrier islands. Book a manatee or dolphin watching cruise. There are miles of beaches on which to view birds and to comb looking for shells. Enjoy a family beach day building sand castles.

Shop Local on AMI

Anna Maria’s free trolley will pick you up at the trolley stop at end of Oak Street and you can traverse the entire island with the on-off service.  Local shopping includes boutiques, antique shops, clothing, gift and island specialty stores.  Numerous art galleries dot the island.

St. Armands Circle

If Anna Maria shopping isn’t enough … St. Armands Circle in Sarasota transcends the everyday buying experience with the 130 stores and gourmet restaurants…a must side trip for all visitors. Enjoy boutique shopping, unique restaurants and artisan galleries.

Mote Marine Laboratory

A short drive from Anna Maria you can experience the best amusement parks the US has to offer.  Disney World, MGM, Universal, Sea World, Busch Gardens are among local favorites. The Ringling estate and museum is a great day trip and the Mote Marine Aquarium exhibits shark, sea turtle, manatee and much more.
